“Students are our backbone – who should start while studying, and focus to reach their career destination through social business. I appreciate the Social Business Creation initiative by HEC Montréal that is spreading around the world. It’s a platform where young minds are getting support to turn ideas into social entrepreneurship and we are happy to be part of it. I believe Daffodil International University & HEC Montréal will work exclusively to create social impacts through entrepreneurship development in Bangladesh.”Dr. Md. Sabur Khan
“Recent UNICEF and WHO reports on inequalities in access to water, sanitation and hygiene reveal more than half of the world does not have access to safe sanitation services. In some cases 80% of the world does not have access to basic amenities. Many parts of the world also lack access to proper educational services. To achieve a more inclusive world we need creative and innovative social and participative business enterprise. Our objective is to collectively advocate such enterprise, provide training and create platforms where such business ideas are shared through awareness building and healthy competition.”Professor Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, PhD
“We live in a world of about 7.8 billion people that have millions of problems every day. When we solve those problems successfully, some other issues appear as a consequence. To get rid of this, social businesses are functioning as an effective framework of ecological, economic and social sustainability. In this regard, Social Business Creation (SBC) competition plays a vital role by arousing someone’s passion and giving him/her complacency to help others through innovative business ideas. The execution of such ideas may eventually bring lasting happiness.”Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal
